Journal: 3/5 Monday Assembly
I wish that when we go to the assembly we could have entertainments for us to see such as short plays. instrumental performances. and etc., so that we could enjoy and it's also safer for us students so that we don't roam around school during the last few minutes of school. This way, teachers can supervise us. Also I wish that the speakers in the front can speak in a louder voice so that people in the back can hear. That's probably it, there's nothing much that needed to change.

Journal:3/3 Shortcuts!!!
These are 5 shortcuts for photshop:
- Ctrl + Shift + N - this will bring up a new layer
- ] - increase the size of the brush and the opposite is [ - decreases the size of the brush
- Ctrl + z - undo ( it's very useful for getting rid of mistakes)
- Ctrl + 0 - this fits the entire photo in front of your eyes. p.s.- it's Ctrl + zero, not the letter "o"
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + K - shows keyboard commands

Journal: 2/24 HOT!!
1.) Always duplicate the Background layer when working on any image. This allows you to look at or return to the original very easily. Name the layers to avoid confusion.
2.)If you made a mistake immediately go Edit > Step Backward or use History as shown on page 17.
3.)In the early versions there are no preset sizes - simply enter in the required dimension. Go Image > Rotate Canvas to get a landscape page.
The tool that I like the most is the sponge tool because it mixes the colors of the places you click so that it looks like that the color changed into another color. But too bad that we don't use this tool that often.

Journal: 2/20
I would read books and comics and probably go shop bookstore for more comics of my mom let me buy them. If I can't read, I'd draw pictures and listen to music in my MP3 or hide in the corner of my closet and daydream. I really like hiding in my closet. But I'd still miss the computer a lot- we can't play online games, listen to free music, chat on MSN or facebook, use the internet telephone, and most of all- homework. There are many homework assignment that require the computer: to type and search info. Actually, if there were no more computers, I'd think that there's one reason less to live. I can't live without a computer!!!

In our homeroom time, we're only allowed to read quietly and we'd get scolded when we talk, not reading a book, being late, and too much of us asking to go to the bathroom. So I hope the rules of homeroom can change a bit.

Today, in Mavis Beacon, there are both good and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?
Okay, I'll tell you the good one first-
The good news is that I've advanced to the intermediate level. But the bad news is that my wpm is only 23wpm.

Journal: 1/19
Now, I'm going to introduce a new tool in photoshop. It is the magic wand! Magic wand is a tool used to select a certain color on a picture. So this will be useful if you want to change a certain color on a picture to another.
If I get some money in my envelope, I will save it in my bank account as usual, since I can't go shopping myself and I can't buy anything I want. However, if I could spend the money, I would like to go to the stationary store to buy some really fancy stuff and bo to a bookstore and buy comics (I love comics a lot). Lastly, and of course, I would go to a candy store and buy tasty sweets for myself. But that's all a dream. sign~
Today, my wpm is still 27. sign~

Journal:more about computers
An icon represents a program, document, or tool to change something and there's other functions due to different icons. It's usally a small picture somewhere on your computer, in a program, or on a document. If you click into an icon, it'll open a program, document, or pops out a tool for you to use.
URl is the address of a website. This abreviation stands for Uniform Resource Locator. So if you know a website's URL, the address, you can just type it in, then you don't have to waste time on searching for the website.
Today, we also practice typing on Mavis Beacan, I got a wpm of 25, which is quite slow. I really need to improve. That is something I really want to do before Chinese New Year vacation. For this vacation, I don't think I'm going anywhere, so I'll be home most of the time. I guess I'll sleep more and get some rest before school starts again.
To fellow AST students-
Good job and keep up the good work!
To those who didn't -
good luck and work hard!
